when the anger scares you
caregiver anger can feel bigger than you expected.
for when you just felt something you don’t want to admit out loud.
for when the anger came fast.
too fast.
for when you surprised yourself.
maybe it was the way they asked for something.
again.
maybe it was the sound of your own voice.
sharper than you meant it to be.
maybe it was the thought you had that you immediately tried to push away.
and then the silence after.
if you’re here,
it might be because the anger didn’t pass.
it’s still sitting in your chest.
still replaying.
still making you question what kind of person you are.
the flash of
“i can’t do this.”
or worse.
you love them.
and you are furious.
both can exist.
there is somewhere for that to go.
if you want to explore this,
it’s here.
sometimes this isn’t just anger.
